This is the poem that wouldn't die. Personally, I think I know why. This is as good as political poetry gets.

For my part, in the writing of the teleplay for this poem, I allowed a lot of unconscious imagery flow. Wall Street and Trinity Church were key locations. As was the Statue of Liberty.
